Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service – January 20th, 2025 is the beginning of volunteerism in 2025 and the 1st Saturday of every month is the way to grow the projects MLK Day keep the volunteers engaged and thervolunteer day to continue these volunteer projects and build local capacity.
The 1st Saturdays in 2025 are February 1st, March 1st, April 5th, May 3rd, June 7th, July 5th, August 2, September 6th, October 4th, November 1st, December 6th.
In our search to create healthy, sustainable communities, we are seeking schools to utilize MLK Day and 1st Saturdays to improve their schools and increase engagement from students, parents, Alumni to increase sustainability from within neighborhoods using schools and their population as the nucleus of this development.
